Salt Lake City (often shortened to Salt Lake and abbreviated as SLC) is the capital and the most populous municipality of the U.S. state of Utah. Aging and Adult Services serve the Salt Lake City Community by Promoting Independence Through Advocacy, Engagement and Access to Resources. Services Include:
- The Caregiver Support program provides information & assistance, free classes, events, support groups, and consultations to all family and informal community caregivers. Unpaid caregivers may also apply for short term respite services.
- The Aging & Adult Services Ombudsman supports and protects the rights of people living in long-term care facilities.
- The Outreach Program answers questions on issues related to aging, will help you enroll in our services, provides referrals to other service providers, and assists with Medicare & Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) enrollment, questions, and problem resolution.
- The Rides for Wellness program provides rides for adults age 60 or older with no other means of transportation to vital medical appointments including dialysis, chemotherapy, and others.

I love my little corner of the world downtown. It surprisingly quite.
Close proximity to hospitals and clinics, public transportation, shopping accessability
Public transportation is easily accessible many activities within walking distance
East Millcreek/ Holladay area is a great community. It has wonderful schools, lots of restaurants and shops close by and a great area to live. Lots of nice people in this area!
