Minneapolis is the county seat of Hennepin County, and the larger of the Twin Cities, the 16th-largest metropolitan area in the United States. As of 2016, Minneapolis is the largest city in the state of Minnesota and 46th-largest in the United States, with an estimated population of 413,651. The Twin Cities metropolitan area consists of Minneapolis, its neighbor Saint Paul, and suburbs which altogether contain about 3.5 million people, and is the second-largest economic center in the Midwest. Minneapolis lies on both banks of the Mississippi River, just north of the river's confluence with the Minnesota River, and adjoins Saint Paul, the state's capital. The city is abundantly rich in water, with 13 lakes, wetlands, the Mississippi River, creeks and waterfalls; many connected by parkways in the Chain of Lakes and the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway. It was once the world's flour milling capital and a hub for timber. The city and surrounding region is the primary business center between Chicago and Seattle, with Minneapolis proper containing America's tenth-highest concentration of Fortune 500 companies. As an integral link to the global economy, Minneapolis is categorized as a global city, with strengths in business, medicine, sports, manufacturing, culture, education, and research. Minneapolis has one of the largest LGBT populations in the U.S. in terms of its number of openly gay politicians, gay wedding ceremonies, pride events and gay-inclusive religious organizations, relative to the size of the total population of the city. Noted for its strong music and performing arts scenes, Minneapolis is home to both the award-winning Guthrie Theater and the historic First Avenue nightclub. Reflecting the region's status as an epicenter of folk, funk, and alternative rock music, the city served as the launching pad for several of the 20th century's most influential musicians, including Bob Dylan and Prince. The name Minneapolis is attributed to Charles Hoag, the city's first schoolmaster, who combined mni, a Dakota Sioux word for water, and polis, the Greek word for city.

In Chicago I have worked at a senior citizen place which I was the janitor doing floors cleaning up and all and I seen how some other nurses or people who take care of the people make sure they take showers whatever it was treating her the seniors I didn't like it so ever since then I've been having feelings and Karen like to do things for senior citizens I even went to school for some nursing assistant that's certificate for that and they haven't got into the field which I like to be there too talk with senior citizen and have them get a smile on their face or the texting games and all that with them but still haven't gotten the field yet so this is one of my reasons that I think I would be a good caregiver
I was in Chicago one day working at a senior citizen home doing trying to work and I seen somehow the peoples were treating some of the elderly didn't like I like to keep a smile on their face give him something to remember me by or just being friendly with them and helping them need anything from the store have a rental store for it just look things that were for the smile on their face and I believe what make them live a little longer and be happy some family don't have family members to visit them I will be one of those person to act like I'm a family member
I was a nursing assistant. I worked in nursing homes, assisted living andgroup homes.
It's a nice friendly environment.

I had father and mother I have taking care of for 5 years I had no problem with it because if it wasn't for them I would not be here and I enjoy it we talk about the old play card and we would get up and dance of have talk about recipes thing like that
