Mena ( MEE-nə) is a city in Polk County, Arkansas, United States. It is also the county seat of Polk County. The population was 5,637 as of 2000 census.
Mena is included in the Ark-La-Tex socio-economic region. Surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest, Mena is a gateway to some of the most visited tourist attractions in Arkansas.

Mena is a retirement community we have lots of young people also I have noticed since I have worked within the elderly inviroment are young people are really involved with helping the elderly.
Mena has been known to be retirement friendly. We also have are young people. We have the best care for our senior citizens...People care about there neighbors in Mena always willing to help one another ..
