I have been a caregiver my whole career. Would like to take care of someone local
Florida is the #1 destination for retired folks!
There is no place to work where you can make decent wages. There is nothing for young people to do. No affordable places to rent or buy.
Charlotte County is not friendly to U.S. citizens. The taxes are very high and we are charged $100 per year for our septic tank. Sarasota County has no charge for this service. I do not like Charlotte County the taxes are not commensurate with services provided. Our road is cracked and there are no sewer taking up rain water that sit and breeds mosquitos. :Vacant properties adjacent to homes are and are growing on to homeowner properties and causing problems with septic tanks.
Smallish town directly on Gulf of Mexico. No high rises, moderate traffic, sunny and warm. Many stores within walking distance.
