Bridgeport is a hamlet (and census-designated place) located partly in the town of Sullivan in Madison County, New York and partly in the town of Cicero in Onondaga County, New York. The population was 1,490 at the 2010 census.

Near to everything if you don’t have car no problem train station and bus routes are all good
It's a quiet neighborhood
I think Bridgeport has a lot to offer! There are some great parks and a nice waterfront. Plus, it's not too far from New York City if they want to take a trip.
