Belle is a town in Kanawha County, West Virginia, along the Kanawha River. The population was 1,260 at the 2010 census. Belle was incorporated on December 13, 1958 by the Kanawha County Circuit Court. It is the home of the Belle Bulldogs Elementary School.
Belle Reynolds, an early postmaster, gave the town her first name.

There are many programs to assist the elderly in Belle. The city mayor and staff are actively engaged in making sure that the elderly population are taken care of.
Activities include food and lunch programs, exercise classes, get togethers and more when there are no covid restrictions
Belle is a very small community in which our city hall staff and neighbors all work together to help the older population in any way that we can.
