Adams is a town in northern Berkshire County, Massachusetts, United States. It is part of the Pittsfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 8,485 at the 2010 census. The Adams Council on Aging (COA) is a town department. It was organized to develop a comprehensive network of in-home and community-based services and supportive programs for people sixty years of age and over in the Town of Adams. Progrms offered to residents of the community include:
- Computer Class for beginners and advanced users
- AARP Tax Assistance Program, Free to individuals with low to moderate income
- Meal site program: Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m., provided by Elder Services for members of the community
- Safelink wireless cell phone registrations available, free government sponsored cell phone, up to 250 free minutes a month
